Collaboration with Best of Hands Barrelhouse
We are thrilled to have our homies in the house to brew this crisp, clean West Coast DIPA. Made with delightful hopping of South Hemisphere hops such as Enigma, Sabro, Galaxy, and Rakua. So delightful in fact it will make your palate exclaim “It was a run-by fruiting!” Thanks for celebrating with us!

dangerous strong ipa here done with best of hands, who i intend to check out next time in seattle. this collaboration series has been great, and even though this was canned months ago now, its still drinking delightfully well. mostly clear, not much deeper than golden, looks light for an imperial, and holds more than an inch of airy pure white foam, nice pour. the nose is tropical for sure, almost overly so, fragrant like lotion, the can says something like southern hemisphere hops mistaken for northern hemisphere hops, but there is no mistaking the strong new zealand vibes this one is putting out. coconut and sauvignon blanc, melon and elderflower, bold yes but also uniquely delicate in its makeup, very little from the malt or the ferment in the nose, seems pretty clean. the flavor is great too, the hops start early, hit with a resinous feel but not sticky northwestern flavors at all, all fruit and flowers, meyer lemon, daffodils, green apple, pear, and white grape, vibrant and fresh to me still, a hint of vanilla cream, and just ever so slight vegetal character on the finish. a little sweetness from the grain but not a ton of flavor, and even more surprising in a beer like this is the lighter body, its not heavy at all. there is just a bit of alcohol burn, and it lingers awhile, thats the only thing suggesting this is as strong as it is, but i could have done a four pack of these without much effort. the steady flow of beers from these guys coming to boise has slowed just a bit, but the quality has remained impressive. really solid modern double here...

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Clear golden pour with a one finger, creamy, fluffy head. Aroma is malty and bready, mildly sweet, touch of citrus. Citrus plays a more prominent role on the taste, oily, citrus peel, oranges on top of some sweet malty goodness. Light hop bite at the finish. Really nice all around.
