Collaboration beer with one of our favorite breweries and everybodies in the great Northwest, Chuckanut! Of course we brewed a lager with the Godfamily of Lagers. When we did a Czech-Czech-Czech-A-Nut Czech Dark Lager. We used Will Kempers favorite Patagonia Negro Perle Dark Malts, Weyerman Barke Pils, Bohemien Dark, then traditionally hopped with Saaz, and Triple Step Mashed this pupper to give you all the Fermentation and Lagering with Love. Expect a very extremely quaffable lager with a super round easy full body. Enjoy all the crisp elegant flavors from all this special malt. Hope you enjoy the fun in this beer as much as we had brewing it together. Drink some before we drink it all! Lagered with E9&Chuck-A-Love!

Very good lager. Deliciously malty with a crisp bitterness from the hops. Smells of caramel and light roast coffee. Pours clean light head and awesome amber brown color

Rich crisp dark mahogany body with piles and piles of tan head. Beautiful and pervasive lacing. Yes, please.
Nose is sweet malts up front. Not sweet sweet though, just that that's the first direction it takes. Like sweet rye bread and a slight organic edge in there somewhere as well. I can't do it justice, but it just smells, 'right.'
Flavour is grainy up front with earthy brown bread leading the way, bridged over to a bit of citrus and earthy bite from the hops. Towards the back end it gets almost a little surge of sweet that harkens back to both the brown bread malts as well as a kind of nectar character from the hops.
Smoothe with a sharp blanket of carbonation. It's another flavourful and enjoyable CDL in this little experiment I've been working on (that experiment being drinking Czech dark lagers because I wasn't really familiar with them before).
Good complexity and bold flavour for a sub-5% beer. Very dry finish and quite enjoyable.

On tap and out of a can.
A most excellent soft, toasty nose, clean, balanced with soft roast and light lemon. The palate is creamy, soft, mildly bitter and with excellent malt character. Squeaky clean with great blend of dark malt, mild roast, light coffee. Delicious.
