Clear amber brew with a coppery touch and plenty of foam in the Kasteel chalice. Warm malty straw aroma. Sprightly carbonation and a light body. Wheaty flavor with a touch of sweetness. Refreshing and lively, a tangy finish. Some hoppy flavor with alfalfa and browned biscuits, a resiny aftertaste. Overall this is a highly quaffable malty brew. Another in the top tier of the many Oktoberfest beers available this year. From the 16 oz can purchased at Town & Country market in Shoreline. not seeing a date but it all seems fresh.
