Look: Cloudy orange yellow, without much foam.
Smell: Oranges and mango, a little apple as well, aromatic hops.
Taste: Orange and pineapple flavor notes, not much bitterness. Not very malty, this beer is about sweet and aromatic hop flavor.
Feel: Light carbonation, not too thick.
Overall: A good summer beer, very refreshing.

On tap at Dive 75, NYC.

Pours a hazy yellow color with a finger length frothy white head. The head retention is really good, as well as yielding thick rings of lacing.

The nose opens with light citrusy zest, with notes of orange and grapefruit in particular. Soft fruity aromas follow, including notes of mango, peach, apricot, pear and a light touch of resiny dank.

Sweet and juicy throughout with a fluffy and frothy mouthfeel. Fruity flavors with little to no bitterness, including tropical notes of mango and pineapple and stone fruit notes of peach, nectarine and apricot. As the citrus flavors open up, their pithy and zesty notes add balance, including notes of grapefruit rind, unrope orange and lemon. The creamy malt backbone is further balanced by spicy notes of pine and floral hops that add some needed prickle to the mouthfeel. The finish is dry with a clean alcohol spice and a small touch of lingering resiny bitterness. Medium bodied with a moderate carbonation.

Yet another along the long line of juicy and soft NEIPAs. The taste and overall rating is nice, even if it doesn’t particularly stand out amidst all the other NEIPAs out there.

This is my favorite beer I can get from these guys. Joe Correia is an IPA genius and while the intersect series gets more creative, I keep coming back to this Hazy gem. Have FAR too many of these a week.

Solid NEIPA out of New York and actually brewed in Manhattan. it may be the only true one there. Solid hazy look to this with a quickly disappearing head that left good lacing. Slamming the hops at your nose with that full tropical meets pine. That is followed onto the taste with some stone fruit and juicy citrus bringing up the rear. Really pleasant linger on the aftertaste.

A: The beer is rather hazy yellow in color and appears to have a moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly died down, leaving lots of specks of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries, mangos, and peaches are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of peaches along with notes of gooseberries. No bitterness is present.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little smooth and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found the smoothness in this New England IPA and the aromas and flavors of peaches to be quite unique.

My taste and overall rating are impacted by the beer being too sweet for me. It looked and really smelled amazing, and I suspect in general it will be considered a very good NEIPA. I liked the fact that it was 6.6%, not 8.5% drinking like 6.6%.

On tap at Haymaker, NYC, it had nice NE style IPA looks with a hazy gold body, a 1-2 finger off white head that faded and left good spotty lacing. The nose and flavor were full of tropical notes and citrus which brought a mix of grapefruit, orange peel, lemon zest, peach and tangerine. Some malty backbone peeked through and gave it balance, but this did not unleash enough flavor to separate from the pack. A good overall beer, I wish Torch & Crown all the best as they get going.

Pours a nice hazy orange/looks just like pineapple juice. Great hop aroma, tons of citrus in the nose. Smooth drinking with a nice peach/citrus notes. Good malt backbone.
