We were going to name this beer Tiki Torch... yeah, that might sound kitschy, but trust us, it would have been sweet. But it turns out that there's already a gazillion beers named that, so we did what any serious brewery would do, and threw that name into an online Wu-Tang name generator. We're proud to introduce the result, X-pert Ambassador. It's fruity, sour, and a little sweet, and packed with Mango and Pineapple.

Light yellow color with no head.
Aroma with predominant notes of pineapple and mango juice which kind of mix together.
Flavor with notes of lemon, pineapple, faint mango and lactic acid. Dry aftertaste with a low to medium bitterness and friendly sourness.
Light body with appropriate carbonation.
Sour with mild notes of mango and pineapple intended to give a taste of the tropics. But I found it too faint for picturing myself sitting on the beach.

On tap at Craft+Carry, NYC.
Pours a clear golden color. A modest head soon dissipates and there is a small scattering of lacing.
The aroma is very fruity and floral, with tropical notes of mango and pineapple and freshly cut flowers. The tartness to come is hinted at, as there are sour notes of lemon, lime and sourdough bread.
The taste is indeed sour and mouth puckeringly tart. A malt base evokes notes of sourdough and doughy wheat and supports tart fruit flavors of lemon, lime, kiwi, pineapple and mango. A hard cider dryness keeps things nice and drinkable. The finish is bone dry and very tart.
Medium bodied with a mostly smooth and doughy mouthfeel. The carbonation is moderate.
This was a tasty and refreshing sour ale I would have again.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with just a minuscule collar of white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of sour/acidic pineapple juice are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is somewhat sour with flavors of pineapples and notes of mangos. There is also some accompanying acidity.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a low amount of carbonation.
O: The combination of mangos and pineapples present a strange yet unique aroma and flavors that takes getting some used to, so I wouldn't consider it to be as drinkable compared to other fruity sours.

Big fan of sours and this one hits all marks. Massive mango pineapple juicy flavor profile that really delivers on fruit. Nice body, and dryness with Lactic-acidic tartness and smooth finish.
Looking forward to tasting other sours!

From a brewery with a background in barrell-aging and a track-record of delicious hazy IPA's I was pleasantly surprised by this delicious juice-box sour. Xpert Ambassador is a 6% sour ale that is brewed with a sht-load of Mango and Pineapple. The lactose that is added to the mix to helps balance the tartness and create a velvety smooth mouthfeel.
This beer is popular with beer geeks and my grandmother alike. Look forward to these guys coming out with more sours. They clearly get it.
