DDH DIPA with Sabro, Mosaic, and Amarillo
New York City never stops, but once in a while, you have to. Your urban refuge could be a bar, your apartment, a late-night meal at your favorite taco truck, or a club of any kind...we're not judging. Whatever, wherever it might be this beer is for those moments and those places.

A: amber-yellow and densely hazy, poured a medium-sized head that reduced to a thin layer after a few minutes. Moderate lacing present.
S: strong presence of tropical fruits (mango, papaya, passionfruit) in tandem with a more subdued accord of stone fruit and citrus. Beautifully melded aroma.
T: typical juicy hazy flavors, the flavor and the aroma of this beer go hand-in-hand. The main impression is an overload of ripe papaya, clementines, and mango. Alcohol is perceptible but well incorporated into flavor profile, and low bitterness is present.
M: lighter body than one would expect for a DIPA, but still quite robust. Carbonation is light-moderate.
O: an excellent DIPA to start the warm weather with. The juicy and tropical hoppy flavors are reminiscent of a typical NEIPA but for some reason, this one exceeded my expectations and really hit the jackpot.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of tropical fruits are present in the nose along with hints of citrus.
T: The taste follows the smell and is mostly dominated by flavors of tropical fruits - coconut stand out in particular - along with notes of stone fruit and hints of tangerines. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and very juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really enjoyed the aromas and flavors of coconuts in this New England style IPA. It made my apartment (or urban refuge during the COVID-19 pandemic) temporarily seem like I was an an exotic tropical location.
