There's a strong case to be made that a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie is the second greatest thing in the universe. There's no debate that beer is the first. We just combined them, so you do the math.
Introducing our latest fruited sour from Torch & Crown. A huge aroma of strawberry rhubarb pie and a tart, dry finish.

On tap at the brewery.
L: Opaque, dark orange with a pink hue, a thin head and spotty lacing. The colour is exactly how you’d expect strawberry-rhubarb to look. Gorgeous.
S: Orange pith and strawberry husks which, actually, is very pleasant.
T: Tangy, slightly under-ripe, wild strawberries with sharp, baked rhubarb. The sweet finish is excellent.
F: Each mouthful is juicy first, then tangy. Never gets properly sour or vinegary, which works well with this style.
O: I used not to be a fan of fruit beers but these fruited sours have turned me. This is the perfect passing of summer to autumn - strawberry and rhubarb pie. A combination that, as it turns out, is well suited to a fresh, tart, sour ale.
