Notes of pine and leafy red berry characterize this brand-new Cold IPA. Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Drum Brew, located in Arendal, Norway, it pours pale yellow with a slight haze and has an aroma reminiscent of an overripe strawberry. Get it while it's Kald.

473 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.0%. Slightly hazy and very pale golden colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of ripe yellow plums. Fruity and refreshing flavour, notes of yellow plums and citrus, a moderate piney bitterness in the finish.

On tap at the brewery.
L: Very light haze (almost clear), yellow/gold colour with a short-lived head and a single ring of lacing.
S: Fresh and grassy with a hint of lemon zest.
T: Green, herbal, some citrus, some honeydew melon. Light bitterness.
F: Medium/light body with low carbonation. Mouthfeel is soft with a little stickiness.
O: A Cold IPA. Do I properly understand what this beer style means? No, I don’t think so. Does this example help me understand? No, I don’t think so. It has many characteristics of a pilsner but without the spicy edge. An underpowered pilsner with some citrusy hops. Refreshing enough but was looking for more.
