Appearance: Dark brown beer poured into a tulip glass on draft from the brewery. Solid inch and a half of off-white head. Lots of lacing and persistency.

Aroma: Medium notes of iced tea with some apricot and mango in the back.

Taste: Black tea, with generalized tropical fruit flavors. Hoppy bitterness.

Feel: Medium body, strong carbonation.

Overall: It tastes exactly like a mild IPA mixed with iced tea. If you think about the bitterness of black tea and how often it is combined with sweet citrus, this is actually a great match.

Pairing: It wasn't the most perfect match with the spicy braised short rib sandwich on the brewery's in-house menu, but it wasn't a bad pairing either.

2d review. T&C has been really good so far
a) Porter like pour, brown black, tan head, laces.
s) Fig, Chocolate, toast, wood fire.
t) Follows dry, pungent, bitter.
o) Nicely balanced, a favorite style done well.

dark, opaque, brown black body, with light cappuccino colored head that sticks around and leaves great lacing on the glass. Nose is burnt toast, fig, malted chocolate, maple. Taste follows but drier, with the same chocolate malt and dark fruit coming through along with beautiful hop bitterness. I wish more people were making these kinds of beers.
