16oz can.
L: Black with a thin dark tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
S: Rich espresso, dark chocolate and toffee aroma. Excellent.
T: Semi-sweet. Loads of cocoa and coffee and red berries. Low to no bitterness. Delicious.
F: Medium/full body with a silky mouthfeel, some foaming carbonation at the edge of the tongue and a long, smooth finish. Really excellent.
O: Top quality imperial stout. Smells gorgeous, loads of flavour, a super mouthfeel. Dangerously drinkable. It doesn’t have much head… but it is 8.5% after all. I don’t get much chili/star anise/cinnamon spiciness but there’s a nicely warm background flavour. Thoroughly recommended.
