not bad, but real american and basic, maybe my least favorite of the beers i had here, most of which were quite good. this isnt overly estery or anything, but the yeast is so familiar, so samey, its lame how so many american made belgian beers all have more or less the same fermentation profile, i do not love that. this also isnt that light, which is what i am more critical of, its not that it has all this body or anything, but i want these to sparkle and refresh, and this is well short of that, it really doesnt pop like i want it too, somewhat sedimented and not as robustly carbonated as the style should be, its almost overly yeasty in texture rather than flavor, and even though the orange and coriander parts are tasty, the overall here leaves a little bit to be desired in terms of drinkability and brightness. even the server at the brewery was sort of like, well i dont really like belgian beers so maybe try something else. its not that bad, has a neat lemony wrinkle and i can definitely taste the wheat malt, but this style needs to sing. summer flavors, heartier mouthfeel, doesnt quite align for me...
