Had this guy at the brewpub, and was not disappointed. Pours a darkish, coppery color with decent head. Smells of West Coast piney hops, but unlike many West Coast IPAs, this one didn't strike me as overly bitter. Taste is a bit piney, but well-balanced by the higher ABV. Bright, hefty, and well-balanced; a solid DIPA that I'll definitely be having again!

Half pour at the brewery.
A little dark for west coast style, copper, though the head produces some nice lacing.
Grapefruit rind and crystal malt.
Peach rings, pink grapefruit, medium bitterness, and rather juicy. It’s walking a fine line between juicy and too much crystal malt sweetness.
It has a full body and medium low carbonation.
I prefer my west coast IPAs to be very dry and this is not. It has some good, though basic flavors.
