Can from the IGA in Winter Harbor, ME. Pours a hazy dark orange with a finger of white head and nice lacing, smell is muted dried apricot, guava, mild orange peel, hints of dank weed, taste is raw hop pellets, pine, hints of apricot and peach, grain husk, pithy bitterness, feel is light bordering on thin, mild carbonation. A hazy rugged session IPA, like Maine’s rocky wooded coastline in a glass.

A: hazy; bronze in color; 1 finger finely pored off white head that receded to a wispy cap; sheets of lace;

S: peach, a little lemon, a little floral;

T: earthy, garlic, herbal, and floral; mild to moderate bitterness on the finish;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish that continued drying out through the aftertaste;

O: better balance than most SIPAs;
