Fair rich creamy head with med retention, fair lacing, crystal clear amber reddish colour
Nose reddish malt, toasted slight roasted malt, sweet caramel toffee notes, fruity esters and hint of spicy rye
Taste more sweet reddish malt, toasted grainy malt, caramel, light toffee, a bit of spicy rye, fair fruity esters again, med to lighter bitterness with light fruity herbal hops, drier finish with lingering spicy hops, sticky finish with some sweetness
Mouth is med bod,med frothy carb, little syrupy sticky
Overall ok, a basic rye ale
