16 oz can from the Bar Harbor taproom. Pours nice and rich with a medium brown head that looks about a 7/10 on the bubble density meter.
Nose is awesome, as coconut porters tend to be (for me at least). This one had a good compliment of roast, light coffee and of course the aforementioned coconut. Little bit of bready yeast is a nice touch.
Taste is really nice here, nothing overpowering. A nice balance of salty, sweet and bitterness. not unlike an oyster stout really. Super smooth, I could drink this often and bonus points for the awesome label.

Very light head, no lacing, semi clear brownish black color
Nose is unique, a bit smokey with raw cocoa bean, lactose, a little fudge brownie, vanilla, and some toasted coconut
Taste vanilla and coconut up front, with mild creamy lactose and fudge brownie, raw fruity cocoa, a little caramel and toasted grain, more fudge brownie and coconut lingering on the med dry finish
Mouth is med bod, creamy milky lactose, med to lighter carb
Overall an interesting take on milk stout with good coconut, nice fudge brownie and vanilla, lighter but enjoyable

Described as a Porter on the brewer's menu.
Dark brown color where light passes only at the very edge of the glass. Minor head, little lace.
The smell is of unsweetened cocoa.
The brew is sweeter than the smell let's on. The cocoa isn't milky and there's the smallest presence of coffee. Rich bodied with a muted carbonation level. Relatively short aftertaste of dry cocoa.

On draft at the brewery in a plastic cup. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with small, light brown head of bubbly foam. It smelled of chocolate, roasted malt, toasted coconut and cream. Sweet chocolate and toffee taste with subtle notes of toasted coconut.
