Pours a murky yellow with a somewhat grainy, dank hop aroma. Flavor follows suit with a bit of dankness, and a slight sweetness, but something about the hop bill in this beer doesn't work for me. I also don't see any date codes on the beer, but I'm assuming it's fresh since it just arrived at my local store. I would not seek this one out again, there's many better alternatives in the flooded NEIPA arena.

Draft: Poured a cloudy/hazy yellow color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops undertones with some juicy notes. Taste is also a mix of citrusy hops notes with some juicy characteristics with a somewhat bitter malty finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA but with more bitterness than I was expecting.

It's perfectly ok. Well made, reasonably tasty, no obvious flaws. It just didn't wow me. There's citrus and pine on the nose that carries through into the taste. There's medium carbonation, a bit of haze, a chunk of bitterness in the finish. Would I drink it again? Sure. Would I seek it out? No.

Poured from a can into a Teku glass. Hazy orange, big white head and lacing - some serious retention on the head throughout the drink. Some noticeable floaters on the pour. Scents of malt, citrus rind, pine on nose. Flavors of pine, citrus rind, grassy, lots of residual bitterness on the palate. Resinous. Decent IPA - not super complex, but decent amount of flavor without a lot of complexity.. Fogtown makes probably my favorite beers in the greater MDI area and more interesting than the alternatives. Good to see them expanding into Bar Harbor and trying a variety of creative things.

Big frothy foamy head with moderate retention and foamy lacing, hazy cloudy med orange color
Nose fresh floral citrusy and a bit grassy hop profile, a little pine a well, light sweet grainy cereal malt
Taste brings soft juicy fruit, grapefruit, citrus, little grassy floral, turning a touch spicy med lighter hop bitterness up front, light grainy sweet malt, good balance, turning to med slight higher hop bitterness late on the drier finish, hops grassy and spicy late
Mouth is med to lighter bod, a bit soft, med frothy carb
Overall not bad, nice dry hop session that is somewhere between American IPA and NEIPA
