Lil Saint, our petite saison, is light on the palate but big on flavor, with aromas of clove, coriander, mint, bubble gum, lemon, and apricot, soft bready notes, and a refreshingly dry finish.

Draft at the brewery
Big creamy dense head, great retention and soapy lacing, mostly hazy medium orange color

Nose lots of pepper spice phenols, coriander, clove, flash of vanilla, nice esters with bubblegum, mild pome and stone fruit notes, light doughy creamy wheat, touch of lemon

Taste light malt, creamy wheat but not doughy, nice citrus notes, little lemon and orange, fair phenol spice notes less than the nose, vanilla, coriander, light fruity esters with light bubblegum and pome fruit in addition to the citrus,

Mouth is creamy fluffy, lighter bod, medium to higher carb

Overall this was quite solid, seemed like a much bitter saison in the big characters that still balanced nicely, very enjoyable

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.

A - Poured a nice just slightly hazy golden orange hue with a thin off white head that fades to leave sticky side lacing and a thin blanket.

S - Aromas of light stone fruits, soft farmhouse esters, little bubblegum, flashes of lemon, light spices almost witbier like.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with pleasant light malt notes, little cracker and dough like. Decent esters and bubblegum. The lemon is a bit more subtle. Good yeast presence, the finish is just slightly spicy and bitter.

M - Mouthfeel is brightly carbonated, crisp, clean, decent body for the ABV.

O - Overall this was a rather solid summer time saison. Good appearance and aromas, the lingering finish though is a touch bitter. Still though it makes for an enjoyable beer.
