love the name, love that feeling, and this is a real solid huge hazy that doesnt drink anywhere near as strong as it is, in terms of body (its not that heavy), alcohol (pretty well hidden, certainly doesnt have heat to it), and in intensity (somehow this is bold the whole way but never harsh, green, vegetal, bitter, or with any hop burn), impressive overall, even approaching elite in terms of execution. there is riwaka in this and the aroma and flavor take on melon and key lime notes from it, some soft white grape notes too there, and some oils on the palate. there is mosaic which hits like pineapple candy in nose and taste, again low bitterness, and not catty like it can sometimes be, maybe slight peach and lemon emerging from the mosaic, definitely fruit forward. lastly there is cryo columbus, which i taste early in a grapefruity sense, lower alpha than this varietal normally displays, and now kind of tropical too, some fruity sativa, then coconut at the end, its got sweetness that carries the hops but not a lot of grain flavor, and the body is only medium which seems light for a triple ipa type. i love how pale and vibrant this is, light on the malt and bright in color, carbonation, and freshness. really nice beer, warms to lemon bars and unmbrella cocktails, love it. stoked on the two hazy beers ive had from these guys so far, and am thankful to get to rip through a few of their offerings recently, definitely way way way ahead of the curve in terms of quality. this is fire for this time of year, has me excited for those first glimpses of spring, even if we still have a few months to wait...
