Rise and shine! A rich aroma of your morning coffee gently fades to an easy drinking lager. Golden light and crisp, this beer is a classic style with the familiarity of a good ‘ole cup of Joe. A smooth and balanced taste that is sure to please beer drinkers and coffee aficionados alike.

Please note that I am new to beers other than the typical Miller and Budweiser. I apologize if my terminology is very low-brow.
My personal favorite beer. I typically dislike beers that try to be something other than just regular beer. However, this coffee lager has blown me away.
The beer has an aroma of cold brew coffee. I am not a coffee snob but it is not super pungent like freshly brewed hot coffee.
The front of the flavor is a very pleasent bitter lager flavor that is quickly followed by the coffee flavor. The coffee/lager flavor is then mixed with notes of hops. The hops flavor is mild. The backend of the beer is sweet and aromatic? It is difficult to explain. The flavor of coffee lingers for quite some time.
This is honestly the best beer I have ever had. I stock up on it whenever I can as they do not yet sell it in Virginia.

16oz in a "coffee glass"at the brewery.
That may be the beer talking, but this is probably one of the best coffee beers I ever had.

A: Pours a clear dark burnt copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate amber + dark burnt orange + ruby red + honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of medium thick film covering approximately 60% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of cold brew coffee over light to moderate aromas of biscuit + toasted + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. Light aromas of earthy + floral hops. Light aromas of lager yeast.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + toasted + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of lager yeast and slightly stronger than moderate flavors of light roasted cold brew coffee. Finally there are light flavors of earthy + floral hops. There is a light amount of roasty bitterness which fades away in a moderate amount of time with a light lingering coffee flavor.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp with a relatively clean finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly lighter mouthfeel. Enjoyable but the coffee is slightly more subtle than I would appreciate (I love a strong coffee flavor).

12 oz can served in a lager glass.
Pours with a clear medium amber colored body with a good off-white head.
This has a mild smell even with the coffee. The aroma is followed by a well balanced, flavorful brew with a coffee addition that is both appropriate in strength and high in quality. Mild bitterness. Coffee and bread notes linger in the aftertaste.
Overall: Light and refreshing as coffee beer goes.
