We’s be in Buffalo, yo. Saw some things these last few days, will see some more, uh huh. Saturday fact finding mission with the talls and special guest star Big Dog. Started to the north and worked our way south through Dodgytown & Shadyville Heights out to First Ward for a brewery one-two, and then ran Hamburg residential over the railroad tracks out here to another old repurposed industrial space…
Corner joint, step down, and in. It’s a decently large space. Large block floorings, and high black corrugated rafter ceiling with ductwork & drop grill lamps. Light colored inner walls and the front wall done up with a pair of panel garage door roll ups and more framed on the ends.
Across the room, a rounded hook shaped wood topped bar, vertical stave and horizontal barrel band base, & piping foot rail. Seating for a dozen and a half+ on squared stools wrapping. Subway tile bar back wall on both sides off the counter and framed arched inlays of the same with wood shelving units holding glassware, booze, hats, & swag. A 12 tap non-descript handled tower row countered within, + a single tap off the post, and an upright cylinder tower alongside pouring perhaps nothing, and more glassware shelved below.
Flats over the barback shelving and on the inner wall adjacent showing sports something or other. Logo 4X8 horizontal ‘Belt Line Schedule’ board listing draft selections (beer, style, ABV, serving size, & pricing) in alt colors. Good framed b/w train pics, a Buffalo map, and a train schedule. Allen Diggs ‘20 posters pasted, too. Wall & barback post mounted lamps. Corner kitchen peek-a-boo. Looking at the guy, he seems to really want to make wings. Phil’s Golf Game and the 3rd… wait, no, fault, it’s a Super Kixx Pro, but looks like the table hockey sets we’ve seen at 2 other places this weekend (They don’t soccer in Buffalo, do they dad?)
(Like) 15 tables, hightop & low, and seating in something of an outdoor pen running the length of those 2 roll up doors. Oh, there’s a brewery back there past the bar on the far end of the room (me, pointing). I can see it with alternating colored lights. ‘Beers in production/cans to go/Happy Hour/Sunday Funday/Bills game schedule/growler fill pricing’ board on the end fronting the brewery proper.
13 house beers, roughly half of them hoppy (13 Flashes, Hazy Pale Ale, 5%; Peepin’ Leaves, NE IPA, 6.9%; A Beer with Nelson, IPA, 6.7%; First Loop, NE IPA, 7.4%; Sunday Show, NE IPA, 6.8%; Junk Drawer, DIPA, 8.4%; Secret’s Out, DIPA, 8.4%), and the other half not (20 From, Pilsner, 4.7%; Festbier, Pale Lager, 6.1%; 7 Line, Porter, 7.1%; Cross Cut, Oatmeal Stout, 7.1%; Double Jusey, Fruited Sour, 7.1%; Double Brunch, Fruited Sour, 7.1%), + a guest cider (Blackbird Cider Estate Reserve, 6.9%)
Cross Cut, Oatmeal Stout was absolutely money, the clean clear A Beer with Nelson, IPA was lovely, the 7 Line, Porter was a face full of chocolate (will you brewers please knock it the fuck off, this was the third Bosco Porter I’ve had this weekend), the 20 From, Pilsner, was very good (better than the one I had elsewhere earlier), and the Festbier, Pale Lager, was really goddamn good, too.
Beers were solid. Got my wings on (Dry-rub Cajun) and the nom-nom factor was high. Glad we dropped in here. Good crowd, chill house, I dig it.

Good size tap room. We didn’t get any food but looked and smelled great. Very friendly bartender who was very knowledgeable about craft beer. Their beer was very good having great sours and great NE ipas. Their variety of selection was OK. They had 3 NE ipas, 1 west coast, 2 sours, 1 porter, a Mexican lager, and kolschs. Their flight size was too much imo being 4 beers 7oz each. Overall really good place with some great beer. Would go back in a heart beat.

Rehabbed warehouse building with wall of glass garage doors, very open feel. Live local crowd mixed with the tractor tour people. Large L-shaped bar seats about 25, with a dozen or more tables in side and a few on the sidewalk out front. 10 beers on tap, I had the 7 Danky Sins and the Citra is My Pale, both solid and enjoyable. Friendly, efficient service. I had the diner double burger, a great tasty deal.
