A biscuity brown ale. So good you can give this to your boss and get your next promotion. What can brown do for you? Brown nose is a funny term, we just hope it is not based on a true story.

Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrival, this is darker than expected with a very fine khaki 1 finger head with decent retention, and the body is a very dark brown that doesn't quite let light through.
Aroma is chocolatey, but dry and with a definite hoppy bitterness, with a slight herbal piney implication. Light aroma relative to the color, but it makes sense for the style.
The flavor is right on style if not a bit roasty with a solid hoppy bitterness. Surprisingly easy to drink and the roasty and hoppy bitterness isn't huge or long lasting. Ver reminiscent of dark chocolate with an herbal piney note in the rear.
The feel is dry an easy to drink, but verging on an armchair beer. Very dry but with a longer malty and almost chocolatey finish.
Overall this is a solid American brown, but I prefer English style brown ales, and the menu didn't actually specify beyond what I will suit as notes.
