Had on tap at the brewery.
One finger of head sat on top of an amber-gold, relatively hazy body. Some lacing forms.
Aroma is sweet and malty, almost syrup, with candy-like hints of butterscotch.
The flavor follows the aroma with some fruity yeasty esters coming along for the ride. The sweetness is quite molasses-y as opposed to straight malty sweetness. It is definitely backsweetened. Not necessarily my thing, but I'm sure someone would love it.
Feel is thick and syrup again, but surprisingly drinkable, and not heavy in the stomach. It is what it is..
