When Kraken Attacks

Had on tap at the brewery. Pours clear, dark brown in color with one half inch head. Taste is blueberry, roasted malt, chocolate, and peat..Heavy body, high carbonation, slightly sweet. Yup totally got this for the name. That said it is good, not great. I believe Dark Horse made a similar beer that I preferred. That said the blueberry tastes natural and the beer is smooth.

Darker brownish-auburn-ruby color mostly hazy, nice frothy head lots of soapy lacing

Nose blueberry, little blueberry puree, sweet but dark roasty malts and lactose notes, hint of coffee and chocolate

Taste stout up front, sweet malt, little roast, coffee, chocolate, bit of bitterness, touch of blueberry juice, roasted malts and coffee again late with a bit more bitterness and mild spicy hop

Mouth is med to a tad fuller bod, med frothy carb
