An extremely interesting beer and difficult to classify. Part wild ale, part saison, part porter - a wonderful menagerie!
Had it on tap at the brewery in snifter. Very dark brown with good head and lacing. Roasted malt smella nd taste. Spicy herbs, pumpernickel, cherries, and dark chocolate flavors, all with a bit of earthy funk. Dark saison are rare and this one is excellent.
