Clear light amber appearance
Medium body with about the same for carbonation
Aroma is bread, grain, toast, yeast and cereal
Taste has some sweetness as well as some mild bitterness other wise it doesn't stray too far from the aroma
Overall a very good attempt at the style

Canned on 10/12/21; consumed on 1/20/22

Pours a dark copper-gold body with a steady stream of effervescence and topped with just over a finger of frothy, slightly off-white foam; mediocre head retention leaves almost no cap along with minimal shreds of collar and some webby lacing holding temporarily to the walls of the glass.

Aroma offers a rounded, doughy yeast hinting toward semi-sweet breadiness upfront; a touch of peppercorn meets lemon rind over the middle, steadily informing more noticeable brown bread with sweeter touches of corn into the close.

Taste opens to a sweet breadiness sporting tinges of wildflower honey into a crisp, doughy yeast profile over the mid-palate, hinting at a lemony minerality into the back end as notes of white toast finishes.

Mouthfeel brings a light body and a carbonation on the lower end of moderate; textures remain taut and crisp into the mid-palate followed by a prickly drying offering a contrasting invigoration emphasizing a moderate 'snap' on the close.

The pronounced yeast profile is thoroughly insistent, with a usual foray into one-dimensionality instead serving to mask some of the sloppier, more juvenile edges to this otherwise solid Helles; still resoundingly bready and quaffable, it cant help but leave a nice overall impression despite the occasional fault.
