16 ounce can, no dating that I noticed on it but believe it's a recent enough release. Purchased at the brewery yesterday. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stuck around a while. Good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like coffee, burnt/charred malt, vanilla, bourbon and some dark chocolate. For the most part the taste follows the aroma, but with the addition of a hint of dark fruitiness. I think the coffee stands out in both the aroma and taste. Nice amount of barrel character, too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's creamy and a bit coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, definitely worth picking up especially if you like coffee stouts!
