Our ESB was brewed with 100% Marris Otter malt, English hops, and was naturally carbonated. Bready maltiness, significant body, Honey-like notes from the hops, and pillowy head make this a brilliant winter drink while you cozy up to a table inside.

A deep amber almost lean towards a dirty copper color with a head that lasts in a diminished form for a good portion of my drink. There's a decent amount of medium dark grain bread in the nose, accompanied by a grapefruit marmalade-like fruit note. Comparatively, there is a lightly fruited (grapefruit and mandarin orange) tea and a significant toasted malt presence in the taste. Feel is modestly carbonated, with a medium body that I think is thanks to the malt profile. Finish is balanced stretching for bitter, with a citrus and husky grain edge.
I do wonder how this would come across on cask, being a malty-but-not-sweet brew with a nice level of bitterness.
