Darker amber into red, this mostly clear brew has a thin white head.
Executed as a bit more of a maerzen than I'm used to out of festbiers, this starts with a pleasantly round body that delivers some chestnut, autumn leaves, and a kind of fruity ester (spiced pear maybe).
Very subtle and delicate overall, threaded by a fine carbonation.
