one of two different ipa types they had on when i was in here, but unfortunately its the only one i had time to drink. its quite modern, real low bitterness and obviously dry hopped, but not hazy or intentionally cloudy, just the lightest chill haze on the still bright brass colored beer. short white head leaves nearly full rings to demarcate each sip. lots to like about the hop profile, even if it mostly familiar to me, maybe mosaic in the front of this, something like it, but with a little more bitterness later on than a lot of these have, its the best of both worlds really, and still drinks like ipa, which is key if you are going to develop the juicy and fruity characteristics of the hops, there is balance here. the malt profile is not irrelevant at all either, light honey sweetness, a quick bready flash, and nice body, but dry and cleaner on the finish, just some slightly sweet hop oiliness left on the tongue at the swallow. like the other beers i had in here, it would be better if it had more carbonation, but its fresh and robust and i could drink a couple of pints of this one no problem!
