they have a good thing going on in here, and i liked all three beers i had time to drink when i visited. this is a basic white ale, but with how many lackluster ones there seem to be in these little american craft breweries, a great one, or even a very good one like this, is that much more appreciated. i dont need any frills, i like these to style, and this one is well done in all the important ways. one, its wheaty but not heavy, made light by its dryness, and if it had just a little more carbonation, it would be on point. second, its subtle on the coriander, not overly citrusy, spicy, herbal, its nuanced and beer flavored first, and thats critical for drinkability. finally, the yeast is right where it needs to be, not too fruity or estery, but certainly distinctive and obviously belgian, as well as matched beautifully with the wheat that has a little rawness about it. there is a soft white peppery thing i like a lot too, this really has it all. fluffy feeling but not heavy, refreshing without being too light, maybe not going to change the world with this one, but i sure would pick it over a lot of its colorado made peers right now...

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
