This is more like a NE hazy than a regular American IPA, but the brewer provides no evidence either way. Moderate haze on the yellow brew and plenty of foam in the IPA glass. Bold and hoppy with a sharp edge. Funky aroma with green melon and wet dog. AStringent citrus peel is the flavor.

The finish is rather gunky and acidic. Aftertaste is quite bitter after some sipping. Starts with a nice fruity flavor, then gets a little harsh, but interesting for a short glass. From the 16 oz can purchased at Central Market. Dated 04 May of this year.

It's got a west coast ipa hop balance. Dry mouth feel and nice bite but not a piney bitter.

16oz can (dated 5/4/21) poured into 16oz tulip. Poured a very cloudy/hazy bright yellow color with well over an inch of white head that had moderate-long lasting head that left very light lacing.

The hop forward scent had a touch of skunk, with some frootyness in the background. No real grain/malt aspect.

Same on the tongue, with the Vic Secret hops being very dominant.

The body was crisp and smooth, with a nice touch of bite on the finish.

Drinkability was OK, but this combo of hops made it a slight chore for me to finish. YMMV.

Overall, not a bad beer, in any technical sense, but the combination of flavors just doesn't work very well.
