Not quite clear yellow brew with circles of foam in the Orval chalice. Moderately sweet and rich with some alcohol taste. Aroma of citrus and even a hint of onion, though not unpleasant. Tangy and sharp at first on the tongue. Flavors of grapefruit and green apricots. Overall this is very mellow and sippable, and plenty strong. A better DIPA than some others I've had lately, but powerfully flavored, just not excessively bitter. Hops are listed as Columbus, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Citra. From the 16 oz can with "canned 31 JAN" on the label.
