Clear amber brew with abundant foam in the New Belgium snifter. Plenty of spritz on the tongue and a malty body. Leafy, green tasting hops with some resiny notes. Some grainy taste that is pleasant and just a hint of sweetness. For once this is a recipe and German ingredients for a Pilsner instead of a mongrel American style. I am not sure that I can tell much difference but it's a pleasant quaff with a gummy finish. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. "Canned 06 JAN" on the corner of the label.
