Handsome clear amber with long-lasting foam in the Copper Kettle goblet. Full beery aroma with alfalfa and lime, then pine in the nose. Spicy and malty with a distinct sweetness. Pleasant mix of hops covering the fruit and pine range. Clean and tangy with a peppery finish. Moderate bitter aftertaste with grapefruit notes. Overall, a highly sippable resiny concoction. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Canned 28 May 2024.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to moderately hazy, light to medium golden amber with a three finger white head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of pale malt, dank hops, grapefruit, faint mixed fruit. Flavor is pale malt, dank and citrus hops, grapefruit, lemon, catty dankness and some pine showing up in a mostly dank and citrus rind finish. Nice level of finishing bitterness. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A solid IPA that is hazier than expected for a West Coast style, but with little fruitiness and a quite satisfactory bitterness; tastes to style. I'm getting used to a new trend of unfiltered IPAs that are not New England style and this is one of them. Aroma is a bit one-note, but there some pleasant hop flavors in the taste. I like some solid bitterness in the aftertaste and this one delivers. Enjoyable. Congratulations on the sixth anniversary.
