Clear golden brew with plenty of foam in the Orval chalice. Aromatic with lime, green melon, and cucumber. Sudsy and light on the tongue. Just a slight malty sweetness which goes well with the fruit. Lovely mild fruity flavor with a scratch of bitterness. Tastes of green apricot and finishes with honeydew melon. Overall this is one of the best of the recent batch of Pilsner-style Lagers. They don't say what makes it "Italian," but just as well. From the 16 oz can purchased at Special Brews. Dated 15 July 2025.
