Look: Light yellow and cloudy with a 2-finger head that slowly settles to leave awesome lacing behind
Aroma: Lemon zest, limes, light watermelon, kumquats, freshly cut grass, lychee, flowers, and light malt
Taste: Oh yeah. A fresh hop punch kicks it off with loads of wet hop cones, citrus, and flowers that hit hard and sharply before settling in an developing depth. Watermelon and lychee weave in and out throughout and closes with a nice bite
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, medium-high carbonation, and lightly dry on the finish
Overall: This is some tasty stuff. This is only my 2nd fresh hop beer ever from these folks and it’s a tasty one, plus I like that they rounded the beer out with a few different non-fresh-hops in addition to the fresh Centennials, while still leaving those as the star. Plenty of fresh hop character throughout – a great beer to start the evening with
