Handsome dark reddish brown in the chalice. Plenty of beige foam. Really a nice winey and grapey flavor besides the usual roasted malt. Starts out sweet with cola, raisins, cocoa, and a bitter chocolate finish. Moderately bitter aftertaste and certainly plenty to balance the modest sweetness. Overall this is a better than average Baltic Porter with interesting complexity and highly sippable. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Canned 12 DEC 2024.
