Pours a hazy yellowish in the Tuborg Pilsner glass with lots of creamy foam. Mouthfeel is sharp but mellowed by all the suds. Aroma of orange peel and straw. Taste is orange juice with a squeeze of grapefruit. Not very bitter, but that NEIPA woody astringent quality is present in the background, just not so invasive as the usual murks. This one is actually very drinkable and not overly sweet.
So it's possible to brew a West Coast NEIPA without going to the Orange Julius extreme. Still, one glass is enough to last the rest of my life. From the 16 oz can purchased at Town & Country Market in Shoreline. Dated 18 FEB 2025.
