Best beer I had on my recent visit back to the PNW (home sweet home, no matter how long I live in the midwest), and first beer I've ever had from this brewery. I'd like to have many more.

In a shaker, pours a nice chalky mango orange-yellow with quite a bit of carbonation and a fizzy 1 1/2 finger of head, good retention and lacing. Nose is outstanding: lots of bright juicy and pithy tropical notes, and some almost but not quite neutral oat malt in the background. Taste followed the nose, and finish was fairly dry with a really pleasant level of bitterness that plays well and undercuts the juiciness a little bit, which I really appreciate.

Pale straw pour, clear; body is a bright and hazy yellow with vibrant, dancing carbonation; thick and densely sudsy white head, long-lasting. Pleasing tropical fruit nose; pineapple and berries. An interesting taste; tropical fruit pith; weak pineapple and kiwi with a touch of pink grapefruit; pith bitterness; a faint aspect of oats. Medium bodied; dry with an acidic bent.

Despite my description of weak fruit flavors, the flavor is actually quite enjoyable. Overall, a very approachable double dry hopped hazy beer, quite suitable for those (like me) who generally shies away from hazies.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 4/18/25.

Appearance: cloudy medium yellow hue with a large head of frothy ivory foam and some little floaties as well.

Smell: grapefruit and orange peel, along with a sort of herbal, almost minty character. Interesting.

Taste: oh, quite a bit more minty/herbal than the aroma ... I think that's the Sabro? There's actually some nice tropical juiciness too, mostly toward the end. Malt is a bit on the sweet side but not out of line for the style. Like the aroma -- interesting, but I like it.

Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: this beer is definitely different. It seems well-made, as I would expect of Single Hill, but the hop combo just isn't quite my jam.
