Take a step into the dark side with this classic, American-style porter. Notes of caramel and black coffee comingle on a dry, roast-forward malt base.

Clear dark ruby brown with abundant beige foam in the big Stout glass. Aromatic with dark malt. Rich and sudsy on the tongue. Roasted grain flavor, some burnt ends, and a moderate bitter finish. This is bigger and bolder than, say, Anchor Porter. It's also very likeable and easy to sip. Even though the alcohol is moderate it seems much more robust. In any case this is one of the best Porters I've had in a long time. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 02 DEC 2026.
