Liška, a Czech surname meaning fox, is our Farmhouse style beer that we use a bottom-fermenting yeast at ambient temperature and lagered in stainless steel for six weeks. Brewed with 100% North Dakota (Two Track Malting) malt and a mixture of local hops from South Dakota.

Poured into a tulip.
Pours a slightly hazed shimmering gold. Very limited head but decent lacing and bubbles. Interesting there isn't more head, as the carbonation is evident.
Aromas are very modest but inviting. Pale crackery malt and just a bit of souring in the background.
The lager character of this Farmhouse is front and center. The pale grainy malts are the star. Slightly sweet but grainy on the front, bready and fruity in midstream, and modestly hopped (earthy and grassy) at the finish. Very well balanced.
Medium light bodied, well-carbonated, and crisp.
Very unique. Not sure it truly hits the "farmhouse" style notes, but "farmhouse" is an elusive descriptor in any event. The aromas and flavors are pleasant but maybe a little muddled. Still, the lager character makes this incredibly drinkable.
