On tap in Zürich. Welp, it’s a beer. I can definitely say that. And it’s a lager. That’s in the name. Otherwise, watery and almost flavorless, but enough beer flavor to not make you 100% regret spending an absurd number of Francs on this. Went well with a fried chicken sandwich and fries.

On tap while in Zurich. Golden pour, small white head. Aroma of hay and nasty. Taste is really off putting with straw and dirty unpleasantness. This is among the worst I've had.

I brought a 500ml can of Hurlimann Lager home from a recent trip to Europe. The beer poured a golden clear color with decent white head that had very slight lace on the glass. The smell was like most Euro lagers...grain/barley with slight hop balance. The taste followed the smell. The mouthfeel was a light to medium body with good carbonation. Overall this is an ok beer...easy to drink

Had in Zurich a few weeks back, as it's all over the place there. A nice malty brew that went down easy; it was on the crisp side with a little sweetness that leaned towards basic and boring. Overall it's a regular and average beer, but nothing special.

Aged aroma of richness and alcohol. It's medium brown, and very smooth.ABove average mouthfeel. A nice one.Yes this is the heller bock no longer produced but it is here and so here are my notes, as Matt7215 has shared with me his find. These aged ales can be special among friends. Sipper.

I'm not a big fan of this style, but when in Swizerland...
Poured a big white head. Golden color with light carbonation seen rising. Not much lacing. Head had decent lasting power.
Aroma was light maltiness and not too much else. Some hops hints at the back end.
Taste was of complex hops, fruity and slightly sweet. Certainly better than I was anticipating.
Mouthfeel had a medium body with a light cleansing ability.
Overall, this was better than expected. Not a beer I would seek out, but one that would be fine if served. A decent session beer due to its moderate alcohol content and easy drinkability.
