From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid brew pours a dark
blackish brown with a nice head of light brown foam that settles
to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some very nice lacing.
Nose of dark cocoa, dark coffee, char, and earthy malts with a subtle
herbal note. Flavors follow nicely with dark cocoa, char, roast, bitter
coffee notes, subtle herbal hops, and nice earthy malt notes. Decent
mouth feel; medium body, soft light carbonation, and a moderately
dry bitter malt finish that is nice but a hair thin.
Overall, a solid brew from a new to the area brewery!
Cheers

12 ounce can, stamp on bottom says canned on 207308 and I have no idea what that means. From what I've seen online though this started being canned in late October/early November 2020 so I'm assuming this is still pretty fresh. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. I like the aroma, the brew smells like burnt/charred malt, cocoa, grain and some coffee. Taste pretty much follows the aroma, but with the addition of some dark breadiness. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit creamy and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good easy drinking brew. Always nice to find a lower ABV dark beer too, wouldn't mind having this again in the future!

At the brewery and later from a single Jungle Jim's can.
Pitch black color and a massive brown head that dissipates rather quickly.
Aroma of dark chocolate. Taste follows suit with roasted malts and a slightly bitter finish.
Light body with ample carbonation.
Really liked it at the brewery, it was not as nice from the can.

Really bitter, surprised it's a lager.
