Had it from draft at the brewery and from a day old crowler bought at the brewery. In both cases it was served in a tulip glass.
Slightly cloudy dark golden yellow color with good head and lacing. Pleasant fruit slightly spicy smell. The taste is of sweet fruit and a nice rye spiciness. A slightly rye booziness. Overall, a bright, refreshing tasting beer!

This is a rye Saison with Brett, aged in wood foeders for four months.
A: Pours with a slight haze. Golden orange in color. A one finger white head forms that recedes to a ring. Light lace is left behind.
S: Up front is a funky/musty yeast character. Wonderful spicy/peppery rye aromas, I'm sure the yeast adds to that a bit as well. Cracker like grains, a bit of a fruity aroma. Excellent.
T: Like the nose, funky and musty up front. Yeast, peppery spice. Grains, bread, and light fruity esters. Well balanced and enjoyable.
M/O: A medium body with good carbonation. Not overly effervescent and pretty smooth. There is a touch of a soapy fell here but not bad at all. For the almost 8% ABV, this is very easy and enjoyable to drink.
A well done Saison with Brett and rye. The musty yeast peppery spice and bread are all very nice. I'll be looking for more of their wood foeder aged beers in the future because the two I have had so far are pretty good.
