12 ounce can poured into a Chardonnay wine glass.
Batch#2023-005
L: Gold, slight haze, 2 finger stark white head, meringue-like foam has good retention, leaves some lace.
S: Bright spicy hop aroma, hints of bubblegum.
T: Dry-ish, clove and banana yeast flavor, spicy hops, mild bitterness, light cracker malt, bitter aftertaste becomes grassy after half a glass or so.

Day 5 of the Advent calendar 2021.
Looks and smells like a saison. Lots of esters with a tight white and lasting head.
The taste is on point, as well. Grapefruit and a hint of bitterness, like that of citrus rind, before finishing with honey.
A very nice example of a Saison. I would gladly have more.

Pale gold appearance with a large white head and good lacing. Distinctive yeasty aroma; some citrus but not overtly hoppy. spicy notes are prominent. Citrus (think lemon instead of orange or grapefruit) and spice recur in the taste and get along nicely with one another. Tangy, not tart nor sour. Crisp, dry, peppery aftertaste. Light-to-medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel. Another solid offering from this brewery.

Poured from the growler, literally 15 minutes from the tap into a tulip style glass. GABF Gold medal winner in 2020 for the Classic Saison category.
Pale lemon body color, gleaming gold and green, with even a touch of clarity to see just a faint fine line of middle carbonation in the glass center. Head is just gorgeous. Beautiful white, with a whipped egg white creamy consistency, clinging like dollops of meringue. Cascading fine sheets of ring lace and spider webbing round it out. Stunning great looking saison.
Very nice soft aroma. Faint touches of light malt, soft sage like herbs and faint grass on the nose but in an almost perfume like way. Really impressive, but also a bit hidden, and touches of faint estery floral notes and sticky bread.
Palate is really nice. Very light bodied, with a faint mineral touch that makes a real nice accent. Light mid palate that hits with soft grass and mineral notes of spring water and soft herbs. Minimal pepper on the finish, just a hair but comes with real subtle flavor. Nice little touches of lemon, as the beer warms up and gets lively"er".
The beer is really well done, but involves lots of time to explore. The flavors and mouthfeel make for stupidly exceptional easy drinking though. I finished this growler in minutes… Nice work everyone.

Clear straw with a thick, rocky head, nice retention and lace
Soft malt, green banana, some citrus, light spice
Flavor follows aroma plus a bit of an herbal quality, spice expresses as clove and blended peppercorns
Light and effervescent, very dry
Nice summer beer.

Straw colored and somewhat hazy. This beer was just released, so perhaps will drop clearer with time [update: it did drop brilliantly clear]. Poured a big white head with good retention, and tons of carbonation bubbling up in the glass.
Soft fruity, spicy sweetness in the aroma - like a clovey orange. Some pepper. Smells "Belgian".
Nice aggressive phenolic character in the flavor, with some pepper and clove. Malt is subtle and gets overwhelmed by the fermentation flavors. Dries out in the finish with a tart, phenolic, and slightly bitter finish. Not sure I love the finish, but a lot of flavor for a ~5% beer
Light-medium body, fairly high carbonation. Mouthfeel seems right for this one.
A great Belgian-style summer beer, as a flavorful and complex, yet easy drinking beer. I finished the entire can while writing this review, which is weird and scary.
