a big and sweet milks stout base brewed with conchas and coffee, a rad recipe and a fun and flavor packed brew, like all of the beers we had in here. this one is a little still from the tap, sticky and kind of flat looking. it smells like sweet coffee, almost like a starbucks drink or something, big caramel notes to it, a breadiness from the conchas is pretty cool, and the coffee seems fresh and cold brewed, low acidity and full character. the flavor is solid, sweet though, sweeter than it needs to be, a desserty vibe, a vanilla note, heavy to me without much carbonation and a little of the alcohol peaking through, but the coffee is fantastic, adds some needed balancing bitterness, and has a really cool complexity to it, lots of chocolate there, and with a light smoke element as well. fuller bodied, especially being kind of still, so i think the texture needs a little work, but the flavor is creative and tasty. not super familiar with conchas on their own, but now i am mighty curious. the beer in here is so clever!
