Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a hazy orange amber with a fine, one finger white head with great retention and thick lacing; looks nice. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and lightly dank hops, grapefruit, orange, a hint of pine. Flavor is pale malt, citrus hops, grapefruit, lemon, dankness and hints of tropical fruit in the somewhat dry finish. Lingering moderately bitter hope finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. An interesting pale ale that surprised me at first with a distinct haziness. It comes across to my taste as a pale ale / NE hazy IPA hybrid. The intense hop presence of a hazy ale and the tapering off of the bitterness in the finish lean to the latter. Great flavor depth for a pale ale. These hazy ales look great, but are not quite my style.
