I visited today (Saturday) at mid-afternoon to try a couple beers and pick up some cans to go. They have a crowler machine, but at least today it was broken.
I'm not sure they "focus" on any particular style, but they have more of a focus on wild sours than most places. They had I think 16 taps. I had an interesting sour with peaches, ginger, and yarrow. I also had an English dark mild. They had a couple IPAs on tap, too, and a few other styles.
Bar service, lots of outdoor seating, nice indoor space, interesting mixture of clean / modern in an old building full of character. The cow on their logo is because of the local landmark cow on top of their building, which is a remnant of the building's former life as a butcher shop, I guess.

I visited Best of Hands for the first time this last week while on a rare excursion to West Seattle. They had 17 of their beers available plus (14 on tap plus 3 can pours), a guest tap, and a few ciders. Selection is wide; there are 3 dark milds! Saisons, barrel stuff, a Brett IPA, sours, a wheat, hazy IPAs. A really intriguing selection that makes me want to make the trip back to West Seattle soon. Mild Animals dark mild is very good, and I also quite enjoyed the coconut vanilla version of it. I also had the dry 4% saison, which was darn tasty as well.
Build out is a bit industrial, but it's clean and welcoming; there seem to be a lot of regulars that come by the place. Service up at the bar was very good, my bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. All in all, highly recommended and I will absolutely visit again.

This place is a great addition to West Seattle, and the Seattle beer scene in general. They specialize in farmhouse and sour style beers but always IPAs and more on tap as well. The space is always clean and the staff is super friendly, plus there's plenty of seating inside and there's a decent patio for when it's nice out.
