2021 SIP Magazine Best of the NW Platinum Award winning double NEIPA Featuring Citra & HBC-586. Pungent hop dankness & loads of lush tropical fruit notes on the nose. Flavors of mango salsa with a floral-fruitiness akin to guava. Impressions of herbal-woodiness and cream enter midway before dissolving into flavors of citrus pith & pine tar. Rose-like notes of alcohol and some boozy-warmth on the long resinous finish.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 12/14/21.
Appearance: hazy golden-yellow hue with a huge 2+ finger head of frothy ivory foam. I mean, the foam is inconvenient, but it sure is pretty!
Smell: quite sweet with a rather tropical character. It's clean, just a smidge fruity, and rather enticing.
Taste: dankly fruity, with raspberry, date, and tobacco, which I think of as being more dark beer flavors. There's stone fruit in there, too, with a chunk of pineapple and perhaps a hint of mango. Bitterness is low for the sweetness, but there is a little bit going on there. It's rich, sweet, a bit tropical, and totally delicious.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good level of carbonation and quite a good creaminess for an IPA.
Overall: I am really digging on this beer. It is delivering across several levels, and I am down.
