Right here in Glenside. PA at the brewhouse, it was delivered in a clear pint glass. There wasn't much of a white head, but that's the way beer is served in the Philly area. It looks even lighter amber than many adjunct American Lagers, but more hazy. There's practically no aroma to describe, even after allowing it to warm for five minutes. It drinks lightly, but still fuller and more flavorful than many lagers. By flavorful, that doesn't mean hoppier. It has an almost nutty character that sometimes comes through in a well-made Pilsner. Although not bitter, the hops are present to a degree they are noticed. The mouthfeel is almost a little too heavy for the style, but it doesn't cross that line and adds to the drinking pleasure. There's at least as much glass lacing as could be expected, but the wee head disappeared. Overall, this is nothing that can compete with the likes of a good stout, sour, nor IPA for a full throttled taste experience. It's just not within this style of beer. But this one is good enough to enjoy and possibly remember.
P.S. This rating is unfair, as in this case, the smell category weighs too much for the overall. Beer is much more about taste and mouthfeel than other characteristics and this gets a higher rating in the important categories.
